Status of Guyana Youth for Future Technology (GYFT)

GYFT To Expand Support

As part of its continuing efforts to support schoolchildren in Guyana, GYFT is in discussion with the Pathfinders Club, a community group in Guyana. The Pathfinders Club runs an after-school program for children in the Lodge, Meadowbrook, Guyhoc and neighboring areas. The support from GYFT is expected to include giving access to computer technology to children participating in the after-school program. Dawn Archer, Director of the Pathfinders Club and Secretary/Treasurer of the Federation of the Guyana Conference of the Seventh Day Adventist heads the project.
